LOIS HAWKINS Obituary
She longed to join her husband Willard B. Hawkins who had preceded her in death. Her brothers Charles and Roland Gaydou also preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include her sons Douglas W. Hawkins, wife L. AlLouise Hawkins of Palo Cedro, CA and Patrick K. Hawkins, wife Ruth Hawkins of Monmouth OR, sister Virginia Hoggett of Vinita, OK and brother Neal Gaydou of Carthage, MO, and granddaughter Janet Reynolds, great granddaughters Janelle and Emily Reynolds of Redding, CA.
Nadine was born in Monett, MO on August 30, 1913. She found a contagious joy in life, which was inspired by her church, family, and many good friends. She radiated a special interest in the welfare of others.
Once her boys were school age, she received training to care for other people, but she was always there when her boys arrived home from school.
Her life here with us made the world a more loving and caring place. Memorial Services will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church, Thursday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Tom Turner will be officiating with Nadine's former Paster Richard Beddoe, now retired of the First Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Nadine's church, the First Southern Baptist Church, 585 Kimball Rd., Red Bluff, CA 96080.

Mrs. Hawkins was as close to me as my own grandmother. Every time I was in town I looked forward to my visit with her! Mrs. Hawkins was a rare woman that held fast to family and friends and cared very deeply for all her close relationships! I will miss her deeply especially around the holidays. The most important thing family and friends need to remember is that Mrs. Hawkins left behind a legacy of love for Jesus, her Lord and savior, she is now in heaven with Him...forever in His glory!

Dear Doug and Family
I just read of your Mothers passing,She was a wonderful person and a good friend.
I think of her and Pop often they wrer good neghbors I have many momeries of our over the fence talks.She would always call me on my birthday. She will be missed by all who new her and loved her.

Dear Doug and Family,
You mother was a very Special friend of
ours. We talked on the phone more than in person. We always prayed for each
other and our families.
I will continue to pray for those boys
that she loved so dearly.
She loved her Lord and Savior very much
and I pray that legacy has passed on to
each one of her loved ones.
