Ricky (Rick) Allan Goff


May 31, 1959 - March 21, 2022

On the morning of Monday March 21st, 2022, the world was saddened by the loss of a wonderful man; husband; son; father; grandfather; uncle; friend; when Ricky (Rick) Allan Goff unexpectedly passed away from heart failure.


Rick was born, 5lbs 5oz, in Houston Texas on May 31st, 1959 at 12:37am. He moved to Chico Ca. in 1964, where he spent most of his childhood and young adulthood. He was an old soul with a youthful spirit and a kind, generous heart. He loved classic cars and classic music; in his early days you could always find him running with the older crowd, cruising down the Esplande or tinkering on one of his many cars. He enjoyed bowling with friends, fishing with his 3 nephews and brother, camping with his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Anyone who knew him knows he was an avid Disney fan and Green Bay Packers fan.


He met and married his first wife in Chico and had two daughters with her (Sabrina and Trisha) in the early 80's, around which time he moved to Red Bluff Ca. He met his forever wife, Desiree, November 7th, 1990 at the bowling alley, Lariat Bowl, in Red Bluff. They quickly fell in love and eventually went on to be married. With this marriage he was blessed with his third child, Steven, the two of them were inseparable and shared a unique and inspiring bond.


Rick had a blissful presence that left a positive impact on those lucky enough to be around him. He had a tender heart and a wonderfully witty sense of humor that could bring laughter and joy to an entire room in an instant. The truest thing that can be said about Rick is that he cared deeply for his loved ones and was always concerned about their well-being and happiness. He gave everything he had when it meant bringing a smile to someone's face. He was kind to everyone but loved his family above all else; the love he had for his family cannot be expressed with words.


He was survived by his beautiful wife, Desiree Goff, his three children: Steven Crosby, Sabrina Bradbury and Trisha Goff, his mother Rita Fletcher, his brother Steve Goff, his nephew Jeromy Goff and his four grandchildren, Joshua, Kingston, Jackson and Amelia.
