Tony died in Redding, CA, on Monday March 17, 2014.

Tony was born in Oakland CA July 31, 1927 to Emma Howell and Ira Russell Williams. At the age of three his grandmother Julia and husband Antone Silva adopted him and raised him in Lodi, CA.

During his younger years he learned to play a variety of musical instruments lastly an Alto Saxophone which he played in a dance band starting at 14 years of age. Also at a young age he learned to play golf which turned into a passion that he shared with many friends throughout the years and in his proud display of his three holes in one.

In 1945, at the end of World War ll, Tony joined the Navy. He later attended Stockton JC at Pacific College. In 1948 began his career with Bank of America working a variety of positions until becoming an Analyst Officer at San Francisco Headquarters and ending his career as Manager of East Los Gatos Branch.

During this time in 1949, Tony married his high school sweetheart, Martha French raising three children Julie, Mark and Jeff.

In 1967 Tony and his family moved to Redding to open Baskin Robbins. In 1970 Tony received a Real Estate license and in 1972 a Broker's license, opening North Valley Realtors. He belonged to the Shasta County Board of Realtors, Village Plaza\Cypress Square Retailers Assoc., member of the Redding Chamber of Commerce, the Redding Moose Lodge and Riverview Golf and Country Club.

After the death of Tony's wife Martha, he married Katy Moser in 1994. Together they shared the love of golf and many fond travel memories.

Tony is survived by wife Katy, daughter Julie, sons Mark, Jeff (wife Jennifer), grandsons Clayton and Foster, stepdaughter Cindy and family, Lisa, Katie, Austin and Luke. Tony's half-brother, Jay Fields. He also leaves behind his much loved dog, Angel.

The Family would like to thank the VA Home-Based Primary Care staff, Mercy Hospice and a special thanks to Michael Erickson and his staff at A Welcome Home.

At Tony's request there will be a private Graveside service.

On Sunday April 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tortilla Flats, family and friends will gather to remember Tony and to share fond memories and stories.
