Nana,
I will always remember when we would come see you at the old KOA Campground in Ashland. We sat around the campfire with you, papa and your friends. Hope had those Chocolate marshmellows and she so badly wanted to share them with everyone, but nobody there was able to eat them, due to, to much sugar. I loved listening to all the stories and all the laughter we all shared. Papa will be missed, but never forgotten. He's watching over all of us and he's up there with christopher, laughing and telling jokes. We love you and are so happy to be a part of your live and all the new memories we get to build together. Papa would be so happy to be a Great Papa again. Which reminds me of another memory...Papa drove you all the way to medford to come to my baby shower and he sat in the truck patiently waiting for it to end. There are to many memories and not enough words. We Love You A Lot! Keep staying strong and with god's helping hand, we will all push through this Together. Hugs n Kisses!

What a beautiful military service today. I am certain Don loved it. He will be missed, even though we didn't see you very often. Jenny, you too were there for me back in '79 when I needed a shoulder and I'll always remember and appreciate that. With much love, Cousin Vickie

Dear Jennie and family, I am saddened to hear of Don's death. He was such a wonderful, fun-loving man who brightened the world of each and every one he touched. It's been many years since we've seen each other, but at this moment it seems like just yesterday that Rich and I were packed into your family room with perhaps "a million" beautiful children. We shared many laughs and much good food and drink. Perhaps Rich and Don are in heaven doing just that right now. Bless you all in this painful time. Find strength in each other, always retelling the many special stories you have to to share about your husband and father (and, of course, grandfather, maybe great-granddad too?). And, as time passes, work together to keep the spirit of Christmas for each other.

Jennie and family, I am so sorry for your loss, Don was a wonderful and funny man. I will miss him! Jennie, I LOVE YOU SOO MUCH, you are like a 2nd mother and Don was like a father to me. Please let me know if there is anything i can do for you. I will always remember when I stayed with you and Don in the summer of "84" Mike graduated and Tammy got married. I enjoyed visiting home and the two of you! Remember the funny little saying your granddaughter had and Don would mimick?,
" Im Telling" he was soo funny and I have never forgotten that. I love you and will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
With Love, Tracy

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Jeannie,
Where do we begin? We had so many great times with you and Donnie, like the time he walked home in the dark of night and rain from our house, not funny then but to laugh about now. Pepsi parties oh, boy what fun.
He was such a wonderful man and loving friend, I'm sorry we hadn't seen each other in the past.
If there is anyting I can do let me know.
Love, Nanci
