It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Dale Beaver. Jerry left us to be with the Lord on May 25, 2018, following a long illness. He was born to George & Helen Beaver (both deceased) on June 18, 1938, in Manderson, Wyoming. He was married to Mary Coyle in 1957 and they had four children, Dale, Larry, Susan & Cathy. After Mary passed away, he married Joline Stapp in 1965, & they had two more children, Jerry & James. They were happily married for over 53 years.
Jerry made a career of being an excellent chef & worked in several local restaurants, as well as in Klamath Falls & Bend, Oregon. Most will remember Jerry as owner/operator at The Gold Street Cafe in Redding from 1989 to 2005.
Jerry & Joline loved traveling & spending time at their cabin in Moose Camp. Jerry cherished his family & he will be missed by them all.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Joline; 3 sons, Dale (Llyella), Jerry (Melissa), & James Beaver; daughter, Cathy (Dean) Cooper; 1 brother & 5 sisters. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry; daughter, Susan; brothers, Doug, Ronnie & Richard; & sister, Nadine McLean. Jerry had 8 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Redding, on June 14, 2018, at 11 am, with a graveside service at Lawncrest & a reception at the church to follow.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Joline Beaver for funding the construction of a memorial table to be placed at Jerry's favorite place in Moose Camp.

I have very fond and happy memories of Cathy's dad Jerry taking all of us kids camping and water skiing when we were kids. He was a very nice man.

My love is with Jerry always. What a truly wonderful man. So full of kindness, love, and smiles that he shared with all who knew him. Such a joy to us all. My heart holds onto knowing I will see him again. I love you Jerry!

When we first learned that Jerry was in the hospital we talked about coming to visit, Mom wanted to see him and share her love. Just wasn't meant to be with some of the families health issues here. We're so sorry for the loss of Jerry, nevertheless one day we will be together eternally with God, the Holy Spirit and Son, what a day that will be.
