Julie & Family,
I was sad to hear about the passing away of such a great man as Jon was. We can be sure that he is at the right hand of God and we will join him when God says it is our time.

I hadn't seen him in years but my brother would stop in at the store in Bella Vista and talk to Jon on occasion. I tried to see him last month but he wasn't in yet. I remember him well in both my junior and senior years at CVHS. We had a few classes together which I will always treasure. God bless and keep you and your family.

JULIE, I met you & Jon at Nova. I first remember Jon on the activity bus, singing to "Old Black Water". Anytime I hear that song I can't help but hear him singing it. He was always one of the "BMOC" at CV, when I learned the two of you had gotten togehter, I thought he couldn't have married a sweeter girl. We've run into each other over the years, it was always as if it was only yesterday. No one can fathom the lives they touch in just a moment. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

You have my deepest sympathy,
but it really doesn't help.
Your grief goes beyond
what words can express.

There's nothing anyone can say,
and nothing we can do
to heal your broken heart
or take away your pain.

Let God take you in His arms
and cover you with His love.
He knows the depth of your grief
and only He can give you peace.
He knows it will take time
for your heart to heal, and
your loved one has a place
that no one else can fill.

If there's any comfort let it be in this,
your loved one is with Jesus,
in a home that's filled with bliss.
There are no tears in Heaven,
no more heartache and no pain,
only love and happiness
for all eternity.

We must go on living and
do the best we can,
then when Jesus calls our name
we will be with them again.

So sorry to hear about Jon. Our prayers are with you all!

Julie and Family: On behalf of the entire staff at Bella Vista School, we send our condolences and have you and your family, in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. My-T-Fine Foods has always been such an integral part of the Bella Vista community and has always been extraordinarily generous and supportive of our school. As a Bella Vista resident and fellow classmate of Jon’s at CVHS, I will not forget Jon’s generosity and willingness to help to everyone in this small town during both the Bear and Jones Fires. He was a small town guy with a big heart. Jon’s compassion, understanding, and heart for the communities of Bella Vista and Round Mountain will not be forgotten. You have our deepest sympathies.

I am so saddened that you have experienced such a tragedy in your lives. When I think of Jon, I see him holding his brand new daughter and seeing the love in his eyes for her and the rest of his family. I have fond memories of what a kind and caring man he was and how he used those gifts to bless others. That part of him will always be with you. Love to all of you - Nora McNeill

I learned this evening of Jons’ passing by classmates from CVH and am thankful for their thoughtfulness. Although a great loss, one must celebrate the life that he had and the people he has touched. Death is like taking one to the airport and sending them on a journey. It’s very sad to see them leave, but when they end their journey, there is someone equally grateful for their arrival. I feel for the family and friends and wish for their resolve. He was a great person, and I am privileged to have been part of his life.

Well Jon, It's only been 9 months since Doug's passing...It is so hard to let both of you go. But, it gives me some comfort to think of the 2 of you laughing together with great joy in the presence of the Lord. Julie and I will do our best to raise the children and grandchildren without you both. Do all you can, to support our efforts from where you are. We look forward to the day when we all will be together again, with HIM-and our broken hearts will finally be made whole. And we will worhip our King together. Much Love
