KENNETH FARRAR Obituary

Outstanding Athlete, Consummate Educator, Champion Basketball Coach, Inspirational Mentor and Christian Community Leader, "K.C." Farrar was born November 4, 1929 in Carter Nine, Oklahoma to Charles & Beulah Farrar. K.C. taught and coached multiple championship basketball teams at West Cottonwood Junior High. A founder of Plus One Mentors and Anderson-Cottonwood Neighborhood Church, K.C. was married for 66 years to Carroll Jeanne Farrar.
K.C. is survived by his wife Carroll and children Mike (Glynes), Kim, Kaye (J.R.) and Lynn, grandchildren Annie (Adam), Jeff and Ryan.
A memorial service will be held at Valley Christian Fellowship, 3180 Rancho Road, Redding on August 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. For more details, please call the church (530)221-0107 or visit Facebook.com/KennethCarrollFarrar.com

Randy Wade, Hi Mike, Kaye, Lynn, an Mrs. Farrar. I just wanted to pay my respects to you an Coach. He had a big influence in my life. He taught me with hard work you can make life easier for yourself. I still to this day have the John Wooden Paper Back Book he gave us after he went to Woodens Camp. I still read it from time to time brings back alot of great memories !

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom and the entire family in the loss of your dad!
Your dad and mom influenced so many of us through the years who were truly blessed to have them both as a teacher, a coach...a mentor during our Cottonwood school years.
I personally want to just say "thank you so much" to both of them today!
Mr. Farrar was indeed a person who truly had a profound influence on my life! You cannot ask for much more!
I am so thankful...
