Nita Harris Obituary
She is survived by her loving family; husband Chris and daughters Katelyn and Madelyn.
Nita was active in the schools, church and girl scouts up until the time of her death. She will be missed by many.
A celebration of Nita's life will be held on May 2nd, 10 a.m. at Redding's Mary Lake. Fellowship will follow at Westside Church located at 8780 Swasey Drive.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Nita Harris Memorial Fund at Umpqua bank for a memorial bench to be placed at Mary Lake.

Chris, Katelyn, and Maddie,
Words cannot express my sadness for your loss. Our family knew what an awesome person we had in Nita. Always being there for me, as a friend, and always displaying strength and courage. Those are traits she carried with her, that I will always admire. Her talents when it came to remodeling the house, making the wall ball wall in the backyard, are amazing. I will treasure the time we had together.
We won't be able to make the service on Saturday because we will be out of town. I am so upset that I can't be there but know that my heart and prayers will be with you and the girls. We love you guys,

Chris - I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. Nita was such a special person, both as a friend and as a teammate. I had no idea she was fighting such a battle and was completely floored to read about her. I am definitely a better person for having known her and I believe most people would say the same thing. You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Chris and family,
Our hearts ache for your loss. Our family had been praying for Nita for awhile and yet we are still taken aback by her passing. I guess we truly felt she would be here forever. Nita was such a beautiful, vibrant woman with a beautiful soul. God's purpose for Nita is greater than we can comprehend.
Lord, we pray for the Harris's and we ask that you continue to bless this wonderful family in all they do. Wrap your love around them daily through this very difficult time. Amen.
