Sandy, we were very sad to read of Don's passing. Took a while to find you, hence the belated note. Don was won of the nicest people we've ever met. A good sport too. Take care and God bless you.

For the family of Dr. Whitehead:
Although we have never met, please accept my condolences. Dr. Whitehead taught me much of my surgical nursing skills as I started here at Mercy Redding. He was a kind and patient teacher. My prayers are with you.

Don, and of course Sandy - So many old, fond memories return. I'll always remember Don's sit-back smile, tolerance, and Don's constant concern for others and love of life, and when Sandy came into his life, two bright stars rising together, connected forever in the sky. The world is better because of you.

Don - Thank you. I have the life I have due in large part to your teaching, parenting and friendship. I feel lucky that I got to be the kid that walked into the classroom (late) after an early morning hunting trip, got to be the kid backpacking with sore shoulders while his Boy Scout friends were reading playboys in a drive-to camp, and got to be the kid who learned to love the mountain air that still revives me each time I'm out there. Take it easy. Laugh. Fly. Hunt. Crash around in the brush buggy. Get on with the next chapter. See you there.
