Ronald Eugene Gee passed away at home Friday February 10th after a long illness. Ron (Ronnie) was born December 26, 1938 in Fairplay, Colorado to Alice and Russell Gee, the oldest child in a family of four brothers. On February 5, 1958, he married his Russell, KS high school sweetheart, Virginia Liggett. In retirement Virginia and Ron served together as volunteers at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, CA. He was devoted to his Catholic faith and was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church where Ron was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Ron is survived by his son Perry Gee and wife Julie (Redding, CA), brother Russell Jr. (Ninnekah, OK) and four grandchildren; Shahnnen Knox (Portland, OR), Alexandra Gee (San Francisco, CA), Greta Gee and Emily Gee (both in Redding). He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, son Cary and brothers Wayne and Laurence.

Friday, February 17th a Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. and funeral Mass will commence at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy, 2600 Shasta View Drive, Redding, CA.
