November 4, 1979 - October 8, 2013
Steve was an amazing man, bike mechanic and a tattooist. He was loving and generous and an awesome dad. He believed in what was right and true. He always had a smile on his face and could turn every situation into a positive one. He brought light and laughter to everyone he touched. He was well loved.
He is survived by his mom Carol, grandma Nancy Motley, uncle Jim Motley and family, sister Mari Encalada, 3 children Caleb 15, Lily Rose 3, Frankie (Steven) 1 1/2, and many good friends and brothers.
Celebration of life is October 20, 2-7 pm at Girvan Park on Girvan.
It's a pot luck! Bring a dish.

Steve, I am so glad that I got to know you. I loved the conversations that we had and you laughing at the suggestions from this old lady. I know that you are in a good place and taking care of your other cousin Patrick James. To the family of Steven Motley,
My name is Veronica, and I didn't know Steven very well, but I am a friend and colleague of Aislinn's. I am so very sorry for the tragic loss of your loved one, and I have been keeping all of you in my thoughts and in my heart during this heart-wrenching time. I have been standing beside Aislinn, with my support and solidarity, since the day this happend. I have shared every one of her posts, pictures, articles, and videos about what happend to your son, grandson, brother, father, nephew, cousin, friend...to Steven, on both, Facebook, as well as various other Redding-area online forums, so that people can know first hand what was done to him. The truth shall set Steven free, and I will be honored to help any way I can to tell his, and his family's story.
