Clinton Frank Obituary

Clinton B. Frank, 84, Parkersburg, died Friday, June 12, 2015, in Grundy Center, under Cedar Valley Hospice care.
Clint was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1948.
He served in the Army during the Korean War, and then married Carita Kruse in 1953. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha and Cheyenne, Wyo. until 1975. He then moved to northern Virginia, where he worked for the National Association of Industrial Parks, World Relief, and Children's Achievement Center. He and Carita retired and moved back to Omaha in 1995. Clint loved the Lord and was active in the church wherever he lived.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton B. and Eva I. Frank; his wife, Carita in 2006; and his siblings, Mattie Reed, Ernest, Harriet Wheeler, Elizabeth McCue Olds, Irene Chute, Duane and Wayne.
He is survived by his children, David (Joy), Gary (Charlotte), Kevin (Karen) and Stephanie (Doug Lewis); nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. July 6 at Harvey Oaks Baptist Church, 14515 Harvey Oaks Ave., Omaha. Memorials are suggested to Cameroon Orphan Fund (convergeworldwide.org/give/650140).
