"Charlie"
ZEBULON - Charlene Laughlin Davis Aldridge "Charlie", age 85, passed away, at her home surrounded by her family, on May 31, 2025.
She was born August 17, 1939, in Asheboro, to the late Charles Franklin Laughlin and Alice Beggs. Charlie was born in Asheboro, lived in Greenville and finally settled in Zebulon.
She suffered physically callfor many years and never recovered emotionally after the death of her daughter, Jolene. The family celebrates their reunion with the Lord.
Charlie is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Will Aldridge; sons: Frank Davis (Teresa), Keith Davis (Lori); grandchildren: Brooks, Brandon, Morgan, TK, Freeman; great grandchildren: Ashton, Elijah, Gage, Wessing, Anthony, Jade, Skye, Hunter, Rhett; brother, Dr. John Laughlin (Dr. Janet).
In addition to her parents, Charlie was preceded in death by her first husband, John Davis; daughter, Jolene Aldridge; siblings: Nancy Bridges, Barbara Lou Murray, Jack Laughlin.
