Uncle Lenny and Aunt Harriet had great children, the ones smaller the twins I don't remember as much as Charles, I attended his wedding, his wife was beautifully, Uncle Lenny's face shone a grand smile when he met us, He attended my wedding also . He was so proud of Charles, he shared moments about Judy and the twins, but Charles was the apple of his eye, With love ...Cuisine Richard Klempner

Oh my God, June. My own gut wrenches with sadness as I hear this dreadful news. I can only imagine the loss that you are suffering, missing a husband that loved his family so much. I witnessed the love and devotion that he displayed to you and the boys and it was that of ultimate respect, honor, and loving duty. I have thousands of great memories of our tennis games, going for frozen custard on hot summer nights, the beach, the boys bar mitzvah parties, karate, and relying on Charlie at the hospital for medical needs. I won't forget how you, Charlie, and the Diamonds took me in at passover in 2000 when I was in grief. Charlie was a beautiful man and everyone adored him. Please know that I am available for company as you travel the rough road ahead. All my love to you and boys.

Dear June. I am so sad to hear about Charlie's death. I remember Charlie as very nice and funny. I still remember years back when I ran into Charlie and you at Bob and Laurel's. Charlie was so proud to tell me that he had gotten beautiful June to marry him. Obviously, still the joker, he said that I should not think any less of you because of that. I will remember him just like that funny, happy and so full of pride as to where his life had taken him. I always thought that these on line guest books were strange, but now I get it. I get to read all of the wonderful comments about Charlie and your family. I am not surprised at all to hear how many people are so saddened by the bright light that this world lost. Take care of yourself and your boys. I wish you comfort in all of the good wishes being sent your way.

Dear Mrs. Plotkin and Sons, Charlie was one of my "Oh, Good" doctors...when I would ask who was on duty with us and the response was "Charlie", I would reply "Oh, Good!" He was kind, considerate, but most importantly, helpful when I needed help. During our quiet times, Charlie would come into the lounge and talk about wheresoever the conservation took us, mostly about family. Have no doubt he loved ya'll to distraction. His work family will miss him, too. I wish for you everything you need during this time.

We were so shocked and devastated to hear about Charlie. I've known him since he was at Beth El Nursery School with my brother Bernie. Those long-time friends are the best. We will miss him terribly. All of our love goes out to June, the boys, Judy, David & Joel and the rest of the family. We are thinking about you all. Helene Weisz and Richard Lieberman

Dear Charlie,

Words cannot express the pain and emptiness we all feel at your unexpected passing. We shared so many jokes and kidded so many times. I gave you such hard time and you wonderfully tossed it right back at me. Your quick wit, steadfast calmness and optimistic countenance will be deeply missed by all those in the OR. You had such a unique ability to filter through the nonsense and emotions of many dilemmas we faced as a medical staff. Gosh Charlie I just don't know what to say....I am a better man to have been able to call you 'friend'. We love you and will miss you so much....

Charlie and I were good golfing buddies, usually competitors. When I moved to Wilson a year ago, Charlie was one of the people I missed the most. He lived his life to the fullest, and wasted very little of each day. I will miss his wonderful humor and friendship. He added a little light to each hour I shared with him.
