Dear Family,
I knew Mike while we were both in high school and as neighbors in Fort Pierce, as a matter of fact Mike's brother Martin married my sister Cecilia.
I remember him as a person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was always fun to be with and very energetic. He would often take me for a ride in the old green and white '58 Chevrolet to see the fish hatcheries where he worked.
I moved on to college and he moved out of Fort Pierce. But I always followed what he was doing through Martin.
So when I got the call from Martin that he had passed, I was quite shocked and saddened. He will be greatly missed. Even though it will be difficult,I pray that your family will face the future with Mike's energy and positive attitude.
Loveingly,
Roger and Susan Garten
