Floyd Williamson Obituary
MOUNT DORA - Floyd "Wayne" Williamson, aged 58, passed away on September 13, 2025, in Mount Dora, FL. Born on December 22, 1966, Wayne spent his early years in education at Goldsboro High School followed by Pitt Community College. He was known for his dedicated service at East Carolina University in the plumbing department before relocating to Florida. Wayne was a passionate fan of Clemson and ECU football, a hobby that brought him much joy throughout his life. During his time in North Carolina, he was a member of Gateway Christian Center in Winterville, NC. He leaves behind his wife, Shirley Williamson; sister, Denise Stocks; stepchildren, Jimmy (April) Taylor, Melissa (J.P.) Stancil, Don (Wanda) Murry; and four cherished grandchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Wagner; mother, Susan Williamson Bell; and brother, Robert Williamson.
