Irene W. Hines

AYDEN - Irene W. Hines, 96, of Ayden, passed away on December 7, 2018. She was born on August 19, 1922 in Pitt Co., NC to Eddie and Catherine Worthington. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and one son, Kenneth Hines. She was a member of Winterville FWB Church for many years. She was employed by the local sewing plants in the clothing industry and retired as a clothing Inspector. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; one son, Walter Hines and wife, Jewell, of Ayden; two grandchildren, Dawn Michelle Hines, of Ayden and Morris Ken Hines, of Swansboro as well a one precious great grandchild, Geoffrey Cole Hines, of Randleman, NC.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday December 12, 2018 at 11:00am in the Ayden Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
