Isolean Rhodes Obituary

Isolean B. Rhodes/ GRIFTON - Isolean B. Rhodes, 96, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at the Ayden Cemetery. Mrs. Rhodes was born March 12, 1912, in Martin County. She was a member of Hillside Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Rhodes. Surviving are four sons, Keith D. Rhodes and wife Virginia of Goldsboro, Frederick E. Rhodes and wife Jean of Grifton, Stuart Rhodes and wife Anne Marie of Virginia Beach, Va., and Danny Rhodes and wife Marsha of Chester, Va.; two daughters, Elda Beth Davidson and husband Buddy of Clarksville, Va., and Bobby Dudley of Petersburg, Va.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon Monday at Farmer Funeral Home, Ayden.
