Kenneth Bland Obituary

Kenneth L. Bland Jr. Kenneth Lorey "Ken" Bland Jr., 48, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at Grimesland Free Will Baptist Church. Ken, a native of Pitt County, attended Belvoir area schools. He worked as a cook for a number of years. Ken attended The Church of God in Bethel. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Bullock; aunts, Daisy Manning, Edna Haislip, Rosa Keel; brother, Kelly Parrisher Jr.; sisters, Virginia Parrisher and husband, Lamont Suggs, JoAnna Bell, Marie Roberson and husband, Drew, and Joyce Renee Braxton; and a special friend, Teresa Spencer. The family will receive family and friends today and Thursday at the home of Danielle Virginia Parrisher at 2210 Johnson Mills Drive in Greenville.
