Miriam Bland Obituary
Dr. Miriam Lenora Bland was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Addie A. Bland and Eva Carmel Clouser; and brother, Dr. David L. Bland Jr.
Miriam leaves to cherish memories of her to a devoted sister, Gladys Theresa Meteye of Greenville; a beloved nephew, David L. Bland III of Chesapeake, Va.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local United Hospice Association in memory of Dr. Miriam L. Bland.
Professional service provided by Mitchell's Funeral Home, Greenville.

I send my condolences to the family. I knew her and family well. I grew up on Wall street with the Blands and attened the same church. As a child, we all went to Blands Drug Store. Miriam and Addie were instrumental in the development of most youth in the area. Watching Dr. David Bland sparked my interest in the medical field.
