WINTERVILLE - Myron Holly Winget, Jr., passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2025.
Services will be private.
Mr. Myron Holly Winget, Jr., originally from Washington, DC, was married to his wife, Effie Winget, for 56 years. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and earned his doctorate in pharmacy from Georgetown University. He served as a pharmacist for over 50 years. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he had a passion for woodworking, was an avid Washington Redskins fan, and held a pilot's license. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Effie Winget; daughter, Myra Hamlett and husband Mitch Hamlett; and granddaughter Mary-Grace Hamlett.
