Nellie Rogerson Obituary
WILLIAMSTON - Mrs. Nellie Harrison Rogerson, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10:30 am in Martin Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends after the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Rogerson was born in Martin County and was a graduate of Robersonville High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also worked as a sales clerk with Belk. Mrs. Rogerson was a member of Williamston First Original Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her: husband of 65 years, Harry Lee Rogerson, of Williamston; son, Glenn Rogerson and wife, Beverly, of Bear Grass; daughter, Rebecca Stevenson and husband, Buddy, of Belvoir; grandchildren, Kevin Rogerson and wife Lynn; and Chad Rogerson and wife Nicole; great grandchildren, Shae and Chase Rogerson; and sisters, Annie Cratt and Mertie Coletrain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Free Will Baptist Church Children's Home, 7907 Buck Deans Rd, Middlesex, NC 27557.

Mr. Harry Lee, Glenn, Rebecca, and family,
It's hard to find the right words to express at this time, but it is comforting to know that Mrs. Nellie is now in the "Hands of God". Your family meant an awful lot to my family and I over the years, as our next door neighbors. We shared in a lot of good times as well as some grief, but always felt a special kind of christian friendship and trust which is so hard to find in this world today. I am so appreciative in the way Mr. Harry Lee and Mrs. Nellie took the time to help my aging mother and be so Kind to her, after my Daddy's death. We really appreciate you and will never forget all the kind deeds. May God Richly Bless each of you and give you much Peace and Comfort in the days to come.
