Dear Beth, Kevin and Brian,
Our hearts go out to you for your loss. We will always remember Paul with the legacy that he impressed on our entire family in so many ways. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with him as a worship leader, Bible study instructor, Pastor and most of all, friend.
Please know that we think of you often and that although we grieve for the short duration that Paul was allowed to lead people to Christ in this world, we know in our hearts that he walks along side God in Heaven right now.

Dear Beth,
I am the alumni director at Mount Olive College. An alum let me know about Paul. I am so sorry. I remember him as a student; so gifted. He was in the MOC Singers and at that time I was in admissions so I traveled with the Singers to make high school visits as they performed. Paul was very good with this group. I also heard him sing at Wesley Beddard's wedding in Jamesville. I wish that i had had the pleasure of knowing him after college and meeting his family. From all that i have read, I can tell that God used him in a mighty way. Even though you do not know me, you and your family have been in my prayers. May God strengthen you and give you peace.

Dear Tuckers,
I know you are treasuring each memory right now. Two of my favorites are the time Paul and Beth walked into the RBC cafeteria for the masquerade party dressed as Bill and Trish Griffin! The other is the time you sang at First Christian Church in Belhaven, NC, where my brother, Mike Isbell, was ministering. Your beautiful music was a special treat for the folks there. We love you and grieve with you.

Beth, children, Mr. and Mrs. Tucker, Charles and family, My heart felt sympathy and many prayers are with each of you. Beth, I only met you once at your wedding shower and was so happy for you and Paul. Paul and I were close friends in college at Mount Olive. I can honestly say, I would not have made it through without his friendship. We sure laughed a lot, made trips to Krispy Kreme, and remember listening to him sing and play the piano many times. I feel blessed that God allowed me to know such a wonderful person. My prayers will continue to be with each of you. One of my favorite verses is Jer. 29:11. May it comfort you during this time. I am sorry for your loss. Although I hadn't seen Paul since high school, those days seem like only yesterday. He has touched so many lives and many the better for it. Paul had such a joy and shared it with so many. He will be truly missed.

Miss Pauline, Mr. Gene, you raised a wonderful son. Although it has been quite a few years since high school graduation, it is obvious that Paul Tucker continued to touch many lives as he moved on. I'm sure his life will continue to have an impact on all who knew him. What an incredible demonstration of the love of Christ he was. I am so sorry I am unable to attend the service in Greenville but will be there in thought and prayers.
To Beth and Paul's precious sons, although these are only words, they come from the bottom of my heart and know them to be true. The Lord has prepared the way for you and will hold your hands every step of the way. My heart goes out to you all.

Although we are shocked and saddended by this news we must remember that God knew all along Paul's days would be few. His worship ministry touched so many people. Even after a year, I still remember his spirit of contentment. Beth, we are grieving with you and praying for you, for the Holy Spirit's comfort. Please know you have friends in Florida who care.

Dear Tucker family,
We are sorry for your loss. Paul was a good man. One could tell he was a caring father, and husband as well as a good neighbor. We can only say that while he knew him, and your family, that we could see that he had close relationship with God. His talent came through in his music and we enjoyed his gift.

Dear Tucker Family,
It's been a long time since I've seen Paul. I still remember him smashing his finger with the bookcase in 2nd grade and how concerned we all were for him then. He was always such a leader in our class and I see he carried that throughout his adult life.

Dear Beth & boys,
My heart aches with sadness over the loss of such a wonderful teacher.
I remember Paul as I grew up at KCC. He would go to church camp with us and he was such an inspiration to be around. My great memory of Paul is the day that he baptisted me into Christ.
He will be missed but he will never be forgotten.

It was such a joy to serve with you at Kempsville Church of Christ. I looked at you as family. When looking at Paul I understood what Jesus meant when he said "we must become as children" the humility I would see in Paul's face reflected the love of our God. It was his desire that God receive all the credit for his talent. In my mind I can see him singing, playing the keyboard and giving God glory.

Beth and boys:
It was just about two weeks ago that I talked to Paul on the phone-
over a church matter. We enjoyed talking with each other for a few minutes. Our paths have crossed quite a few times over the years and we have always enjoyed seeing you and Paul sing. Paul had a true gift with people and for music.
We thank you for the years we spent with the boys when they were very young. The boys had a wonderful Dad and Beth you truly had a great husband. Everyone who knew Paul instantly felt a connection with him.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved husband, father, son and brother. Please except my condolences. I had known Paul since the 1st grade, but had not seen him in a long time. I only recently saw his brother Charles at a Fire Dept dinner, and had asked about him. I can still remember playing on the football team with him, and how he was always singing and playing the piano during our school concerts. Paul touched so many people not only with his music but also with his passion for Christ.
After a few discussions with Paul in 1995, I made my decision for Christ and Paul performed the baptism and that is something I will always hold dear to my heart.

As a choir member at Northside I looked forward to seeing Paul each week. He was always smiling and joking with us. Most of all he was prayerful and concerned with us in our trials. He loved to praise God and was a spiritual leader to us.

Although I did not know Paul well, I admired the reverance with which he conducted worship services at NCC. He always had a smile on his face which I believe came from the love in his heart which was evidenced by the warmth he displayed toward everyone he met. He was a true servant of the Lord and a dedicated disciple. He will certainly be missed.

I recently attended the Praise Night with a coworker, and Paul even introduced himself and welcomed her after the performance.
