Shirley Becker Obituary

Shirley Anne (Humphry) Becker
BATTLE GROUND - Mrs. Shirley Anne Becker (Humphry), 87, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 22, 2025. Shirley was born January 13, 1938, in Covina, California, alongside her twin brother, Glenn. Her parents, Leroy and Elmira Humphry, had four children in all, Lucille born in 1923 and William in 1926. After losing Elmira, Lucille took on the responsibility of raising the twins at a young age. Shirley spent her childhood horseback riding in the hills of Azusa, California.
She married David Roy Becker, and together they moved to Battle Ground, Washington, where they raised six children. Shirley enjoyed the simple things in life, a black cup of coffee, a maple bar, and a good book. She loved her family deeply and expressed how proud she was of her children and her many grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her six children – Beverly Becker, Brenda Fairbanks, David Becker Jr., Dean Becker, Bonnie Anderson, Darryl Becker, and their families.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 6th at 11 am at Lewisville Cemetery, 26515 NE Lewisville Highway, Battle Ground, Washington. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 pm at Alderbrook Park, 24414 NE Westerholm Rd, Brush Prairie, Washington.
