Travis Proctor Obituary

Travis H. Proctor, 76, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015. Travis was born in Wilson County on February 16, 1939 to Joshua H. and Virginia O. Proctor. For many years Travis owned and operated Proctor Heating and Air Conditioning Co. in Atlantic Beach and later relocated his business to Raleigh before his retirement. He had a talent for fixing almost anything that was broken. He was a big fan of NASCAR racing, classic and new cars, and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father and older brother, Donnie Proctor. Travis is survived by his mother, two daughters, two sons, eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers, the mother of his children, and a host of extended family members. As requested, no funeral services will be held and at a later date, the family will gather to scatter his ashes. The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Oak Haven Assisted Living in Greenville for the daily care and support provided to Travis over the past several years.
