Eric Hendericks Stall Jr.

GILSON - Eric Hendericks Stall Jr., 53, Gilson, died at 2:55 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at home.
Eric was born April 16, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Eric H. and Susan Artzt Stall Sr. He married Ann Marie Roark on Aug. 15, 1994, in Galesburg. She survives of Austin, Texas. Eric is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Susan (George) Eastburg of Galesburg; his father and stepmother, Eric (Norma) Stall Sr. of Austin, Texas; three sons, Aliex H. Stall of Peoria, and Joseph W. Stall and John J. Stall, both of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Beth (Rex) Mills of Gilson and Kathy Eastburg of Knoxville; and one brother, Jason D. Stall of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by two nieces, Kristy (Jesse) Sperry of Moline and Tiffany Eckert of Galesburg; one nephew, Bryant Ellis of Knoxville; and two great-nephews, Justis and Tyler Sperry of Moline.
In 1982, Eric joined the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1984. Eric spent his years as a stay-at-home dad, taking care of his boys. Eric loved bodybuilding, motocross, cooking and music. Eric worked a few years as a personal trainer. He enjoyed reading the Bible. Most of all, he loved being with his family.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be 2 to 3:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Memorials may be to his children. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
