Always enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Eichorn when Violet and I went to the shop. I was fortunate to catch and wave to her out front of the shop in the car within the last few years. Such a special lady who will be greatly missed. Sending prayers to her family.

I met Mary and Bob along with their beautiful daughter Barbie at the Infinity + One, an underground dining establishment in Galesburg. I was a student at Knox College between 1968-1972. When I saw them sitting in a booth, I asked if I could no in them. Mary was the first to say yes. We talked about Galesburg and Peoria, about Eichhorn Jewelry and Crawford's Family Shoe Store and mostly about Barbie. Mary was the sweetest, kindness, gentlelady one could possibly imagine. I did have a date with Barbie and corresponded with her when she went back to Colorado for college. Over the years, I would return to Eichhorn Jewelry on the main street,in downtown Galesburg to visit with Bob and Mary. They both were so wonderful, so open and so loving to this, young guy from Peoria. I miss all three of them. Bob, Mary and Barbie. My heart goes out to Barbie on the loss of her father Bob and her wonderful mother Mary.

I'm so glad to have gotten to know Mary, Barb, and Pricilla when they shopped in Wiillow Haven. I have fond memories of talking with Mary and her excitement of finding new treasures. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by many. I hope fond and loving memories bring peace and comfort to her family and friends.
