Pamela Bradley Obituary

Pamela S. Bradley, 62, of East Galesburg, died on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.
She was born on April 4, 1951, in Beardstown, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Dorothy White Bailey. She was raised and educated in Beardstown. She attended Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg. She married Stephen D. Bradley on May 13, 1971, in Beardstown.
Surviving is her husband, Stephen Bradley of East Galesburg; two daughters, Dawn (Greg) Hillman of Tremont, Ill., and Jennifer (James) Johnson of East Galesburg; five grandchildren, Auryana Bradley, Maverick Hillman, Paxton Jobe, Dawson Hillman, and Zoey Johnson; and one sister Julie (George) Hardesty of Carrier Mills, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She did childcare in her home in East Galesburg for many years. She served on the East Galesburg Village Board for 12 years. She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville. The Rev. Milton Marquith will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory in Knoxville. Interment will be at the Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville. Memorials may be made to the East Galesburg Community Church in East Galesburg. Online condolences and sympathy cards may be sent through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com.

Steve and family: On behalf of the BHS Class of 1969, I wish to extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of Pam. She will always be in our hearts, especially this year as we come together for another reunion. Pam was an elementary classmate of mine and I have very fond memories of her.
