Precious are the memories of dear Shirley. My family lived one and one-half miles south of the Meadows farm. Shirley and I attended Pretty Prairie School together and shared the same birthday. I shall never forget her sweet spirit although we had very little contact after the early '40s. Our prayers are with the entire family.

We were sorry to learn of the death of Shirley. Special condoleses to Julie Trulson and Bobby Chase. Shirley used to come to our house to pick up Cole when I was babysitting him. She was such a nice lady. It was a pleasure to have known her.
