Marina Hoffman Obituary
Mrs. Hoffman was born on Sept. 9, 1941 in Torrington, daughter of the late Domenico and Merina (Romitti) Nardi. She owned and operated Hair Fashions by Marina and also was employed by Torrington Furniture in sales. An avid UConn Women's Basketball fan, she also enjoyed taking trips to the casino was her many friends and was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, Randall, she is survived by her daughter Kristine Sorbello of Torrington; one sister, Lydia Gelormino and her husband Joseph of Oregon, one niece, Holly G. Guy and one nephew, Paul Gelormino.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, with the cortege departing at 10 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Cancer Care, 200 Kennedy Drive, Torrington, CT 06790 or to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I worked with Marina for many years and I know she had a big heart and a smile for everyone. We both had the love of cats in common. I haven't seen Marina for a while but I will miss her.......
