Mary P. Kakowski, 89, of Branson, MO formerly Torrington, CT, passed away December 25, 2021 There will be a Mass for Mary at St. Peter's Church in Torrington on February 5, 2022 at 4:30 pm and a Mass and Celebration of Life at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Branson on January 19, 2022 at 5:30 pm.
Mary was born on Monday, December 19, 1932 to Anthony and Jennie Pace in Torrington, CT. Years after graduating from Torrington High School, she went on to study at Central Connecticut State College, earning her Masters Degree in Education. She was a stellar and well loved teacher in the Torrington school system for thirty years. Mary wed Robert C. Kakowski in 1954 and went on to have their only child, beloved daughter Ellen K. Lang. After retiring, Mary was very active in volunteering at Cox Hospital, Branson Library and the Ozark Women's Association. She will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Robert; and all of her siblings, having been the youngest of six.

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
