Ralph Strattman Obituary
Ralph was employed as a construction worker. He retired from the Barnett Construction Company and previously worked for the Henry Beher Company. Ralph had lived in Barkhamsted his entire life and was a life member of the Connecticut Trail Riders Association.
He is survived by his six children: Sally Doyle of Warren; Carol Haab of Millerton, New York; Cathy Ives, Robert Strattman, and Margaret Dean all of Canaan, and Carrie Torsiello of Barkhamsted. Ralph is also survived by his two brothers Clayton Strattman of Florida; and Wilbur Strattman of Massachusetts; along with his sister Adeline Linkovich of Canaan. He also leaves nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 6, at 11 a.m. in the Newkirk-Palmer Funeral Home, 118 Main St. North Canaan, Connecticut, 06018. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery Sand Road North Canaan. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be sent to the High Watch Farm, 62 Carter Road Kent, Connecticut, 06757.
