Reverend Raymond Frederick Marchand

Raymond Marchand Obituary

NORCROSS >> On Jan. 25, 2013, after many years of waiting, Reverend Raymond Frederick Marchand went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
He was a 1955 graduate of Torrington High School, and was a 1962 graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary, in Johnson City, New York, and attended University of London School of Oriental and African Studies, where he majored in Islamic history and theology. He leaves behind (temporarily) his wife of 51 years, Ann L. Marchand, his daughter, Michelle Halko, and son-in-law, David Halko, his son, Elliott Marchand, and daughter-in-law, Julie Marchand, his three grandsons, Joseph, Daniel, and John Marchand, his brother, Allen E. Moser, and his two nieces Amy McLaughlin and Colleen Scott.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Lilburn, GA, which is open for anyone who wishes to attend. Additional information may be found at www.billheadfuneralhome.com.
