Oh my goodness. I worked with Joleen at University of Oregon Bookstore waaaaay back in the day. I have such fond memories of her and was just telling my husband a funny story that included her. So I decided to look her up and discover she passed away. I’m so sad to hear this. Joleen always made me laugh and she was so smart and hardworking. I just loved her

Saddened to hear of Joleen's passing. Worked with her back in the late 80's while employed at SelectCare. Very heartwarming person.

I was saddened to learn of Joleen's passing. I worked with her for several years at SelectCare and I remember my first day on the job how she took me under her wings and showed me around and introduced me to everyone. She was such a wonderful fun person. My prayers are with the family.

Joleen was one of my very best friends in 5th grade. We would laugh over silly jokes until our sides ached.
We met for lunch when she moved back to Oregon. I immediately recognized her -- that same, fun smile.
I loved reading her Facebook posts. Joleen loved animals -- and turtles too! I posted that my puppy was lost and Joleen offered to help me look for him
Joleen's kindness and genuine caring for people and animals was always bubbling on the surface. -- Jackie
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2 NIV

I will remember Joleen as a kind, thoughtful, intelligent, strong woman. I was privileged to know her if only peripherally as a former coworker and back-yard neighbor. She will be missed!
