A Memorial Service will be held for Frank Johnston Wiley on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Grace Fellowship Church, 834 Monroe St., Eugene, OR.

Frank was born October 15, 1934, in Portland, Oregon to Walter and Mary Wiley and passed away suddenly in Eugene, Oregon, on January 3, 2015. He married Helen Rhoads on July 6, 1963 in Spokane, WA.

Frank had a love for music all his life, receiving both a BA and MA, nearly completing a DMA in vocal performance. He served as a Voice Professor at many colleges and universities. He also used his talents in voice and choral conducting in churches. Frank loved photography, traveling, camping, and time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bob and Jim. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Helen, seven children: Brad, Steve, Joey, Lorinda, Jennie, Tom and David; 22 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Memories and Condolences
for Frank Wiley

Not sure what to say?

One of his favorite places was to be at the beach with family. I will miss his smile, sense of humor and his antics at our family campouts.

It was always an honor and pleasure to sing with my Dad. Thank you Dad for giving me a love for the Lord, music and singing, hiking, photography and most of all you unconditional love. "I sing because I'm happy, I sing because I'm free."

My father gave me the gift of music, a sense of adventure, a thirst for knowledge, and most importantly, he gave me his unconditional love. Dad, I will miss you! I await a reunion in heaven, "until then my heart will go on singing!"
