Dear Betty,
I used to teach HS French at AIS in Ethiopia when you and Gordon were there. I have fond memories of you both and often thought of you over the years. One thing I will never forget is those peanut butter and tuna melts (or something like that) that you and Gordon served at a get-together you once had at your house in Addis for the AIS staff.
I am so sorry to have learned (albeit it very late) of Gordon's passing. Of all the school heads I ever worked with around the world over the years, Gordon was always one I remembered as being very compassionate and caring.
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
