1926-2015
Joe John Gonzales was born on November 26, 1926 in downtown Houston and passed away September 20, 2015.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Leticia Gonzales Aleman (Richard), Carolyn Gonzales Vidrine, Brenda Gonzales Jones (Roy); grandchildren Adrienne and Amanda Rooney, Richard and Michael Aleman, Kevin and David Vidrine, Ken Jones (Kim), Rachel, Ryan and Kate Jones; great-grandchildren Anthony, Gisele, Christian and Jordan Aleman and Joseph Robert Jones; beloved brother-in-law "Lalo" Edward Medellin, his children Connie Alvarado, Ophelia Ponce de Leon, Edward Medellin Jr and Charles Medellin, numerous nieces and nephews, and family friend Albert Aleman.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Hope and his parents Rafael and Antonia Gonzales.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 11 am Friday, September 25, 2015 followed by interment in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

We wish we could be there tomorrow to honor Uncle Joe. He was very special to me, and I remember all of the silly smiles & hugs. He will be dearly missed. We send our prayers and hugs to the entire family. We look forward to seeing him again.
