John (Jack) N.
Beebe Jr.

Jack Beebe passed away on March 16, 2017 after a short illness, complicated by the effects of a stroke he suffered in November 2008. Jack was the eldest son born to John N. Beebe Sr. and Anastasia (Curran) Beebe on December 23, 1947 in Boston, Mass. The family moved to San Mateo, CA in 1961 and Jack graduated from Aragon High School in 1966. Jack enlisted in the US Army after high school graduation and served in Germany, Viet Nam, and Washington DC. After an honorable discharge, Jack attended the College of San Mateo and San Francisco State University; he graduated from SFSU with a degree in English.

Jack was employed for most of his career in hospital purchasing and materials management at facilities in California and Washington State including Sequoia Hospital (Redwood City, Calif), Peninsula Hospital (Burlingame, Calif), Kennewick General (Kennewick, Wash), Saint Francis Memorial Hospital (San Francisco, Calif), Seton/Catholic Healthcare West (Daly City, Calif), and Santa Clara Valley (San Jose, Calif).

Jack married Mary Ann Boardman in 1967 and their son Samuel C. Beebe was born in 1968; they later divorced. Jack married Diane Saunders in 1977; they later divorced. Jack married Sheila Ramerman in 1990.

Jack's passions in life were cars and English darts. He attended numerous Concours d'Elegance in Northern California and showed his prized 1973 Avanti II several times in the Eugene area where he and Sheila lived since 2002. Jack played English darts in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years, and met some of his best friends during that time. He kept in touch in later years via email and Facebook.

Jack was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ann and by his father and mother. Jack is survived by his wife, Sheila Ramerman (Eugene), son, Sam (Andrea) of Mountlake Terrace, WA, brothers Bob (Laura) of Veneta, OR and Bill (Kim Andersen) of Warren, RI, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering for Jack will be held at the family home in Eugene on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3 pm.
