Karl Ellwood Hurst
1935 - 2019
Karl's immediate family included his wife; Jacqueline Hurst; daughters, Kathi Parshall and Jamie Hurst; son, Scott Hurst; and his grandchildren; Jordan Parshall, Jacob Parshall, and Hunter Larson.
Karl was patriotic and served in the US Air Force. He became an electrician and was a proud union member of IBEW, Local 280, for 60 years. He enjoyed his home in Palm Springs, traveling, real estate, and family time.
He was a hard-working, loving friend, and father to many. He will be missed.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 16th from 3-5pm at Lakewood Park Estate: 1800 Lakewood Ct. Eugene.

My heart is with the Hurst family at this time of loss. Karl was the parent of my dear friend Kathi, and knowing the kind, generous, and supportive person she is, I know that he was proud of his daughter's many accomplishments. Rest In Peace, Karl, knowing that your capable family will continue to care for each other.

As a high school friend of his daughter, Kathi, Karl always wanted to know where we were going and what we were up to. Now that I'm grown, I can appreciate that as being a good parent! He was always teasing us, but I remember alot of good times with friends downstairs at the Hurst house. Blessings to the Hurst family at this time knowing he is at peace.
