Michael Harrison Obituary
He was born in 1955 in Eugene, Oregon to Earl Dean Harrison and Marjorie Ann Harrison and had lived his entire life in the Eugene-Springfield area.
Michael was the 4th of 7 children, Sandra Joanne Harrison Roach (John) of Alaska, Donna Rae Harrison Corgain (deceased), Deborah Ann Harrison Weaver (Jim) of Tigard, Vickie Lynn Moreland Kurzahl of Idaho, Robert Charles Moreland of Eugene and Marion Elaine Moreland Carter of Eugene.
He was employed for over 40 years at the Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Eugene, retiring in 2017 as Parts & Service director.
Michael was very athletic and loved all sports but he was especially fond of basketball and water skiing. He played in the local city leagues for many years after high school and many a summer evening and weekend were spent at local lakes, looking for that perfect water to ski on. After he hung up the ski's and put away the basketball he became an avid gardener.
He married Deborah Elaine Mock in 1983 and together they raised two wonderful sons, Jordan Michael Harrison and Cameron Wade Harrison. He was blessed with two granddaughters, Taylor and Kelsey whom he adored. He loved baking cookies with them, teaching them to follow the recipes and to measure.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Donna. He is survived by his wife Deborah, his son Jordan (Kimberly) and his son Cameron.
Michael loved and took care of his family, his absence in our lives will be difficult to overcome. If you wish to remember Michael, please practice a random act of kindness every day and think of him. He would love that. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

While we lost touch during most of the last 20 years, I will forever consider myself grateful for having connected with his life. I am so sad to hear about Mike, he was a great friend to me for 44 years. I still remember the first time I met him as he was so easy to know. I loved the many times we waterskiied together, and the parts and service club meetings, truly great times and fond memories. I know what you are going through now but it always helps me to appreciate the time God gave us together. He was a great man and real friend.

Dear Deborah and family,
Mike was one of my best friends in high school and over many years. I remember his great love for life and his family.We spent hours and hours playing basketball and water skiing, he will always be a great source of friendship and wonderful memories. I am so sorry for your loss, I will always think of the entire Harrison family with fondness, we could not have asked for better neighbors. I remember water skiing with you (on Mike's skis which were way too big for me). Mike was always willing to lend a helping hand and words can not express my sadness at his passing.
