I'm saddened to hear I won't see pastor Bolden any more. Iwent to Grace Memorial back in the 70s and 80s and he and his wife and family were always so kind. They opened their home to me to just hang out and I loved singing in the choir. What a wonderful gift he was to Eugene and all the folks he touched. I will miss you pastor Bolden. You're a good man and have raised a great family! Much love, Laura M.Smith

Our family only knew the Bolden family through Bishop Bolden's son, Chris. Chris was on the South Eugene High School basketball team with our son, Hal Hermanson. We were so glad to have a chance to know a bit of this family and wish you all the best.

The last time I met Bishop Bolden his loving wife was in the drivers seat and I could tell he was ailing. But he was welcoming to my greeting while displaying his usual warm smile and employing kind remarks. I am certain he was proud of the accomplishments of his children and grand children. A parent wants a good life for his family. Your successes fulfilled his personal legacy. Our prayers are extended like angel wings around you. Namihira, LeAnne and Tuyen Bolton

Mom and Dad were neighbors of your family for many years and Norm was always so kind to them. Dad could talk to him when his mind was failing him and he was supportive of mother after Dad's death. They both enjoyed knowing the whole family but Norm and Dad would always talk in the driveway. I am sorry for your family and the community's loss. Sandi Sanders (daughter of Donn and Jean Chase)

Rarely does one get to know a person as wonderful as Bishop Bolden. I worked with Norm for 30 years at LTD and always would walk away from our conversations feeling better about myself and the world. Norm was a loving person of integrity and grace who was positive about live and was one of the hardest working persons I have ever had the honor to know. I will miss him dearly.
