Patrick A. Boles of Eugene, Oregon died in his home on April 29th, 2012 of a pulmonary thromboembolism. He was 48. A Celebration of Life service is planned at his in-laws family estate on August 25th, 2012.

He was born on January 1st, 1964, in Pico Rivera, California to Michael Everett Boles and Janice Mae Ross.

Patrick held a Bachelor's Degree in business. He was an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certified mechanic, and worked in avionics for 25 years. He served in the United States Navy and retired as an Aircrew Chief, ADC (AW/NAC), in January of 2003 after serving 22 years in multiple countries. After his retirement, he was the lead helicopter mechanic for Augusta Aerospace supporting Coast Guard helicopters and deploying on Coast Guard Cutters. Beyond his aviation expertise, Patrick also became an independent businessman in the automotive industry, owning and operating a Jiffy Lube Franchise.

Pat was involved with the Lane County Search and Rescue (SAR); in both the Ground SAR and Special Vehicles Groups. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to 4x4 and rock-crawl in his Jeeps and ride ATV's and his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also enjoyed traveling, camping, hiking, mountain biking, scuba diving, snow skiing, boating, and water sports.

Survivors include his wife, Casey (Oakes) Boles, son, Shaun Patrick Boles, twin brother Michael Boles, sister Victoria Gibson and sister-in-law Kristen Hamm, sister Cynthia Fortin, grandson Damien Boles, niece Ella, parents in-law Rick and Peggy Oakes, brother-in-law Jake Oakes, and niece-in-law Kylee Oakes. Many friends were like family to Patrick, including the entire Christiance family and all of the Navy and military brothers and sisters he served with.

A private inurement will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA on September 4th, 2012. He will be laid to rest next to the military brothers and sisters he respected and loved.Please sign the guest book at www.registerguard.com/legacy
