Robert E. "Bob" Buss, age 56, of Eugene, formerly of Carthage and Quincy, IL was the first 1958' New Year's baby for Hancock County, IL. He was born to Raymond (Louie) and M. Jane (Morrow) Buss.
Bob was of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by his life partner James Murphy of Eugene, his adoptive mother Helen Harney; siblings: William and Bryan Buss, and Rebecca Beer of Quincy, Bradley Buss of Loraine, IL and Benjamin Buss of Columbia, MO; and an uncle of Elgin, IL; his in-laws various nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and adoptive father Don Harney.
