Agnes Parrish Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Musgrove Family Mortuary & West Lawn Memorial Park on Mar. 10, 2026.
On March 2, 2026, our beloved wife of 70 years and precious mother of five daughters, Agnes Imogene Parrish, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on May, 26, 1931, to Norris and Mary Heisler, in Hiawatha, Kansas.

Through several state-wide moves, she arrived in Eugene, where she met, and married, Delano Clifford Parrish. They had five daughters: Cynthia Lang, Brenda Patterson, Julie Parrish, Malinda Scott, and April Heisler. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma to eight and great-grandma to nine (10th on the way). She loved her family deeply and was very supportive.

Her greatest joys included reading and studying the Word of God; hearing her daughters play music and sing together; making ten quilts and two wedding dresses for her daughters; publishing a Christian coloring book called 'Calling All Little Girls'; sewing spectacular costumes for and directing an adult Christmas pageant; sewing an elaborate wardrobe for a Madame Alexander doll and donating it to Hosannah Children's Center; canning and gardening; sewing Christmas stockings for the homeless; and making a cake for the Bach festival. Her only and ultimate desire was to glorify the Lord.

She had a heart of gold and showed unconditional love to all. She will forever live in our hearts and will be loved and cherished.

A Funeral Service will be held, Friday, 3/13, at 2pm, at Hillview Baptist Church, at 725 S 42nd St., Springfield, OR
