Tamara Blanton Obituary
She was born December 6, 1961 in Springfield, OR to Eugene and Ardelis Halpain, the youngest of 3 daughters.
Tammy grew up in Springfield and was a 1980 graduate of Springfield High School. She earned an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Lane Community College in 1981.
On October 24, 1987, she married Mark D. Blanton in Eugene, OR. Their family was started with the birth of their daughter, Lian Noelle in 1990. Their son, Joshua Ryan was born in 1995.
Tammy really loved her family. She spend countless hours watching her children interact at their sporting events, dance exhibitions and many other activities. She loved to travel and was not afraid of new adventures. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark D. Blanton; her children, Lian and Joshua; her parents, Eugene and Ardelis Halpain; and her 2 sisters, Teresa Jones and Trina Halpain.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 11 AM at Northwood Christian Church, 2425 Harvest Lane, Springfield, OR.
