We made wonderful memories,

We will never be apart.

Your voice will always guide us

You are always in our heart.

Timothy Mirl Cullen was born October 14, 1953 in Oakland, California. He grew up in Mountain View and Palo Alto, California where he played Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and attended every baseball game at Candlestick Park that he could. In addition to baseball, he loved the summer trips he took with his family to Alaska where they spent much of their time above the Arctic Circle in small fishing villages.

Tim attended the University of Wyoming and graduated from the University of Oregon. He worked as a manufacturer's representative for a variety of companies, including STP and Makita Tools, covering Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

Tim struggled with Bi-Polar Disorder for many years. Due to his own problems with his mental health, he was acutely aware of the difficulties faced by the mentally ill in our society and he had a strong desire to act as an advocate for better access to mental health care, particularly for the uninsured.

Tim is survived by his mother, Jeanne Bibb of Woodland, California; his father, John Cullen of Clearwater, Florida; his daughter, Lauren, of Birmingham, Alabama; his sisters, Connie Vincent of Portland, Oregon and Jennifer Worster of Woodland, California and by three nephews and four nieces.

The family will scatter his ashes in Seabeck, Washington where we all spent many happy times.

"Please blend the spirits of Fred Cullen, Dick Bibb and Tim Cullen with those of Grandma and Grandpa C. J. Carlson, Helen, Mirl and Dorothy Thompson and Lucille and make their combined strength available to all those we love."

I met Tim during his divorce...and what an upbeat and sweet man even when times were tough. He had a talent of crocheting and made me a scarf..I still have it and will always think of him when I wear it. My prayers to his family.

Tim was a friend of mine...how lucky I am to be able to write those words...and how sad I feel that I won't get to tell him goodbye. You were loved,Timmy, and that is the true measure of success in this life.

Tim was larger than life and his heart was true and straight. He enjoyed everyone he met wherever he went. I shall miss him dearly. He will remain close to my heart until we meet again "...in the rose garden of changeless splendor."

How lucky we are to have known Tim... bright, irresistible personality, could really light up a room. He'll be truly missed.

One of the true good people in my life. Even though Tim had more than his fair share of burdens, his words were always kind and his heart was always open.
I will always remember those eyes and that smile.
