WEST ALEXANDRIA — Carol A. Reckers, 84, of West Alexandria, passed peacefully on Easter Sunday morning, April 9, 2023.
She was born to Albert and Audrey (Chevalier) Tabben in Covington, Kentucky, on May 22, 1938.
Carol was an avid reader and worked as a library assistant at Eaton Library. She was happy watching anything with her family, having family gatherings, and making her Sunday dinners. She loved to cook and was known for her homemade lasagna and her Eclair cake. She enjoyed playing cards — mainly Euchre, and taking girl trips with her high school friends anywhere. She loved her family and her friends and will be missed by those who knew her.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Carl, a brother Michael, and a sister Marilyn.
She is survived by her loving children Linda Marker, Laura (Lloyd) Gerhardt, Lisa (Rick) Wackerman and C. Edward Reckers; her grandchildren Joshua, Rob, Brett, Austion, Daniel (Shari), Scott (Stephanie), Amanda (Adam), Falon (Kurt), Abbi (Cory), and Skylar (Maggie); her great-grandchildren Brandon (Cherise), Leigha, Cameron, Jaxson, Kynlee, Brogan, Lincoln, Daelon, Dylan, Elijah, Elli, Emmalynn, Joslynn, Jace, Gavin, Maddox, Nora, Weston, Mosley, Conley and Ruby, along with her sweet great-great-granddaughter Ella; several siblings, Jeanette, Larry, Paul, and Rich, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
