CAMDEN — Fred R. Sexton, 84, of Camden, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 26, 2024.
He was born in Rock Castle County, Kentucky, to the late Earl & Ruth (Bradley) Sexton on Sept. 16, 1939.
Along with his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Cox.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sharon Sexton; children Leia (Josh) Yancey and Thomas Sexton; grandchildren Hunter Yancey and Kinsey Yancey; sisters Peggy Halcomb and Jewel Thornton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Linda & Dick Parsons; many nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss him dearly.
Fred was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a proud Pop Pop to his beloved grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. For over 50 years, Fred was the owner & operator of Fred's Auto Parts. If he wasn't working on vehicles, you could find him fishing in his pass time. To know Fred was to love Fred. He was a wonderful man that will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, at Bales Funeral Home (249 N. Main Street, Camden, Ohio, 45311) from 10 a.m.-noon. The service will start at noon with Brother Roger McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
