JAMES DICKMAN Obituary

JAMES DICKMAN James Matthew "Jim" Dickman, 54, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of James and Sharon (Hartman) Dickman. Jim was a member of the Vineyard Community Church in Aurora, Indiana. He had a passion for grilling and using his smoker, and he loved to travel-especially to Cancun and the family home in Florida. Whether boating in the Gulf or enjoying the peace of his farm in Indiana, Jim found joy in the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. He was a dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer at Honeywell. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Connie Dickman of Rising Sun, IN; his daughter, Zoey Dickman of Rising Sun, IN; his parents, James and Sharon Dickman of Cincinnati, OH; his sister, Kathy Mapes of Greendale, IN; brother-in-law, Gaylen (Gail) Mattson of California; and many extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor David Hall and Will Stevens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vineyard Community Church.
