STEVEN VEST

STEVEN VEST 11/25/1977 - 10/04/2025 Steven Warren Vest, 47, of Lawrenceburg passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, Ky. The cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was born November 25, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Garry Vest and Victoria (Kimmon) Vest. He married Sarah (Werner) Vest in 1997. He had a 23 year career as a painting and remodeling contractor, was a skilled carpenter and specialized in historic restoration. He had been operating Vest Painting in partnership with his son, Lane. Steven appreciated fine art and architecture. He was a fun-loving individual who enjoyed riding motorcycles, and was a valued member of Aurora Harley of Cochran. His greatest joy was watching his talented son Carter play baseball, basketball, and football. He is survived by his mother Victoria Burnett of Lawrenceburg, brother Garry Vest Jr., and sister Brandi (Vest) Holt. A devoted father, he leaves four children: Lane Vest (Ashlynn) of Aurora, Kory Vest of Raleigh, N.C., and with Carla Smith, Lilly Vest and Carter Vest. He leaves four grandchildren, Jonathan Vest, Waylln Vest, Everlynn Vest, and Warren Vest. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends who mourn his loss.
